How to upgrade your Jackdaw effectively in Assassins Creed Black Flags 4 Black Flags

I will be explain you how to upgrade your Jackdaw effectively without wasting
unnecessary amount metal, wood or money.
Hull Armor
When
upgrading the Jackdaw your main focus should be the Hull Armor. Before you
start dividing your attention to other upgrades you should at least upgrade
your Hull Armor to Reinforced Hull Armor. If you can take a good hit from Brigs
in your early stages you are off to a good start.
Crew Quarters
Crew
Quarters should be upgraded to their fullest extent because they may be the
most wanted upgrade after the Hull Armor. You will not see the advantage in
this in the beginning but when you are against Man of Wars you will need as
much as crew you can have. If you don’t have enough crew there will be no place
in trying to board ships with a higher crew killing requirements.
Broadside Cannons
Broadside
Cannons potentially has the highest damage amount in the games close combat
weapons. Using them wisely can help you to take down ships with RED levels.
When upgrading the Broadside Cannons it divides into 3 different categories,
Amount of Cannons
Upgrading
the amount of Broadside Cannons can help you to increase your ship’s
destructive power drastically. So focus your attention on this upgrade because
this the second utmost valuable upgrade.
Round Shot Strength
Round shot
is also important upgrade which helps you to improve your ship’s single shot
destructive power.
Heavy Shot Strength
Heavy shot
can be used by shooting your cannons without aiming. They have large destructive
power than Round Shot. In their Elite State Heavy Shots Strength is 2.6 times
greater than in the Elite State of the Round Shot.
Mortars
Mortars are
long range weapons with large destructive power which help you to soften up
ships with higher LEVEL who are hard to take down. When upgrading the Mortars
always remember to upgrade the Storage of Mortars as well.
Swivel Cannons
When you
have attacked and done some damage to a ship spots will start to appear and by
holding shift button you can do some damage from Swivel gun as well making it
also an important upgrade in your list.
