How To Master Dead Island 2 Riptide

Hey guys
it’s being a long time right. I got a little bit busy but I’m back and got
loads of tips for you. For my first post after a long time, I’m going to give
you a guide to the horror filled, survival and massacre of zombies filled Dead
Island Riptide. Here it is.
Dead
Island 2 Riptide is the sequel to Tech Media’s open world zombie survival
series. Their first game Dead Island received amazing reviews so their
developers created 2nd game to the series namely Dead Island 2
Riptide. It also includes the weapon degrading feature and ability to modify or
upgrade your weapons and the previous game’s 4 playable characters namely
Logan, Sam B, Purna and Xian plus a new character John.
My 1st
tip for you to master this game is choosing a character a wisely. When you
first click create a new game you will be met with the option choose your
character from five different choices each with their own specialties. For
example Purna is an expert in fire arms (guns, rifles etc.) and Xian is an
expert in blade weapons. My preferred choices are Xian and Sam B. Because the
most basic and useful weapons in this game is blunt weapons and blade weapons.
As I told you before Xian is an expert in blade weapons and have some skills
that can help you to use your blade weapons to their maximum potential and Sam
B is an expert in Blunt weapons and has high physical endurance. So you can
choose between Xian and Sam B with the matter of male and female. Also if you
like guns you can use Purna but you’ll have to complete almost half of the game
to find firearms and take advantage of her unique skills. After that you’ll be
asked to choose a set of skills and my recommendation will be custom but if you
want to play the game fast as possible choose survival.
My 2nd
for you will be use money without being greedy because every time you die you
lose 10% of the money you have. So don’t be greedy and spend money on necessary
items unless of course you are saving up for a weapon.
My 3rd
tip will be try to complete as much as Team quests and side quests in this game
after completing 3rd or 4th chapter. By completing
missions you gain lots of xp and cash so you’ll level up faster and will be
stronger in boss fights. Also by completing Team quests you gain access to very
powerful weapons and bombs (Bombs are ideal to clear away hordes of zombies so
don’t waste them.)
My 4th
tip will be, don’t ever throw your most valuable weapons because the game 90%
glitch make your weapons disappear so keep throwing weapons to a last resort.
My 5th
tip will be, always try to use vehicles and boats to travel around because
taking out zombies for hundreds of meters sometimes may make you hate the game.
My 6th
tip will be, don’t use fury unless you are up against a thug, floater,
grenadier, boss zombie or a horde of at least 20 zombies. (When Xian is fully
leveled up she only has to kill around 5 zombies to fully recharge fury)
My 7th
tip will be, as soon as done helping Trevor blowup the bridge and the cut scene
is over go to Zoey do her quest.
Also
when you first choose a character you will be asked to choose a set of skills.
If you choose custom skill set you will be awarded 14 skill points. Remember to
activate the first skill of the Fury skill tree because Fury will only be
available if you have this skill and trust me Fury is a necessity.
