Naval Battle Tactics for Assassins Creed 4 Black Flags
Standard and Most Effective Battle Tactics
Stun the
Ship with Chain Shot
This will
give you time to Maneuver into a good Attack Position. But Strong Ships like
Legendary Ships will only be Stunned for small time so keep in mind to quickly
move for the Most suitable Attack Position very fast. Position your ship in
angle of 45 degrees to the enemy ships Rear facing it with your Broadside
Cannons attacking lots of lower Hull Armor. Use your own Cannons and attack its
Rear and other Areas while staying out of its Firing area. While your Cannons
recharge attack with your Swivel Guns. If you have Elite Swivel Guns hold down
the button (which attack with Swivel Guns) all the weak spots will be destroyed
when holding the button down without releasing it.
Chain and
Ram Strategy
There 2
steps in chain and Ram Strategy. First
you will need to get close enough to the enemy ship and unleash some Chain
shots which will slow it down or stop it completely where you can Ram the ship
the using your Ram(don’t forget to “Brace” if you don’t have the Elite Hull
Armor).Upgrading your Ram, Chain Shot and Chase Cannons will improve the damage
done by your Chain and Ram Strategy. Unlocking the Charge Attack by defeating
all of the Legendary Ships will also increase your Ram’s power.
Board other
Ships and Repair your Jackdaw
If you have
a hard time going against a group ships focus your attention one of them and
board it and you will be able Repair your Jackdaw and return to battle with
refilled ammo and refilled Health.
You can also
capture ships by maneuvering into its path and “releasing the wheel” and
swimming on board and killing everybody on board. Then go back to your ship and pull
it up near the ship and Board it.
NOTE=
Always remember to kill the Scouts as well when doing this trick and this will
not work for Legendary ships as it will kill you if you touch their Hull Armor.
